Costa Cruises says its Costa Mediterranea will redeploy to a "key core market" for the 2008/2009 winter season, rather than joining Costa Fortuna on eastern and western Caribbean itineraries. Costa has yet to announce where that market is, but says details will be forthcoming. For the upcoming 2007/2008 winter season, Costa Mediterranea will sail from Port Evergaldes along with Costa Fortuna. Costa Cruises is set to add capacity from now through 2010, with the introduction of three new ships; the first, Costa Luminosa, will debut in spring 2009. (DE)
