Cruise Planners Selects Agency of the Year

Cruise Planners travel agency in South Florida was awarded Carnival Cruise Lines' "Agency of the Year" for 2005. The agency was selected from about 25,000 agencies throughout the U.S. and Canada. "Carnival was a huge supporter from the very beginning, always providing much-needed advice and counsel when we were trying to establish our company," said Cruise Planners President Marvin Davis. "They were one of the few companies to see our potential." Says COO Michelle Fee: "With a broad range of prospective clients, you have to know how to sell to different markets, whether it's via e-mail, follow-up phone calls or direct mailing campaigns." The 33-person staff will share a champagne toast with Carnival executives and then travel via limousine to the restaurant of their choice.
