Silversea Cruises reports that there is one year to go before the launch of its newest flagship, the Silver Muse. To mark this milestone, commemorative events will take place April 19 on board all eight of Silversea's ships around the world.

Guests will be invited to a special dinner showcasing culinary specialties that will be on board Silver Muse, including specially created dishes from all regions of the world.

Due for completion in April 2017, Silver Muse will sail to 52 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, from ancient Greek temples to historic Caribbean fortresses.

Launching from Monte Carlo, Silver Muse will spend the spring and summer in and around the Mediterranean. Thirteen of the ship's European ports of call will have UNESCO sites, including the Cinque Terre in Liguria, the Historic Center of Rome, the Archaeological Site of Olympia, and the Tower of Belém in Lisbon. Following its Mediterranean season, Silver Muse will make a transatlantic crossing, with North American UNESCO highlights including the historic district of Old Québec in Canada and the Statue of Liberty in New York City. On October 18, the ship will transit the Panama Canal, after which it will offer itineraries in South America

Silversea has launched a dedicated brochure for Silver Muse featuring all itineraries of the inaugural season, along with new details on the ship's eight restaurants, suites and interior and exterior public areas.
