Dietmar Wertanzl, a 25-year veteran in the cruise and hospitality industry, who most recently served as COO of Tauck World Discovery, has been named president and CEO of Cruise West, replacing Jeff Krida, who retired in January. Wertanzl will be responsible for overall business performance, both short and long term. Dick West remains chairman and managing director.
Prior to joining Tauck, Wertanzl was vice president, fleet operations for Celebrity Cruises, and before that held management posts with Crystal Cruises and Royal Viking.
