cruise3sixty 2011 Officially Sold Out

The cruise3sixty 2011 conference has officially sold out, according to Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). The association has opened a registration wait list.

"We want to ensure that cruise3sixty delegates have an optimum conference experience. To that end we have opened a wait list and urge all agents who wish to attend to put their name on it. We will make every effort to accommodate those who sign up," said Bob Sharak, CLIA’s executive vice president for marketing and distribution. "In the meantime, all agents, whether they’re registered or not, are also encouraged to submit nominations for the CLIA 2011 Hall of Fame."

The deadline for submissions to the CLIA Cruise Industry Hall of Fame is February 15. The Hall of Fame recognizes those cruise industry representatives, past and present, whose efforts and accomplishments represent a significant contribution to and positive impact on the development and growth of cruise vacations. Inductees are chosen in the categories of cruise line executive, cruise retailer, and an “At Large” category that may be any individual, such as an additional retailer or cruise line executive, a politician, publisher, or shipbuilder, whose accomplishments warrant nomination. Agents may submit names by going to www.cruising.org/travelagents and clicking on the Hall of Fame icon.
