Crystal Adds New Perks for Family Vacations on 2017 Alaska Cruises

Crystal has announced a new lineup of added amenities and savings aimed at families traveling aboard Crystal Serenity this Alaska cruise season.

The ship’s seven 2017 Alaska cruises sail between Vancouver and Anchorage from June through August on seven-, nine- and 10-day itineraries.

Crystal’s “Kids Sail Free” offer allows kids age 17 and under to sail in a complimentary third berth with two full-fare adults, while the “Crystal Memories” program affords additional perks for larger families traveling together, with one free berth for every 10 full-fare guests and shipboard credit for each guest. Additionally, “Crystal Clear Choices” allow travelers to select shipboard credit, air credit, or cruise fare savings.

Aboard Crystal Serenity, children can enjoy a number of entertainment and enrichment options, with dedicated facilities and programs for younger kids and teens. Fantasia and Waves were redesigned in 2016 and are fully equipped with arts and crafts, games appropriate for all ages, seating areas and flat-screen TVs for movie nights and interactive play on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii, and Xbox One. Junior Activities Directors curate specialized programming throughout summer voyages related to the destinations.

Ashore, guests can enjoy Crystal Adventures that include visiting a dogsledding camp visit and trekking through the Tongass National Forest. Additionally, flightseeing opportunities will give guests the chance to explore the majestic glaciers of the region, while several whale-watching and educational wildlife experiences will highlight the delicate magnificence of the landscape.

Crystal Serenity’s 2017 summer Alaska voyages start at all-inclusive cruise-only fares of $2,585 per person.
