Crystal Adds Shorter Alaska Departures, New Guinea Voyages

crystal cruisesCrystal Cruises has released its 2017 and 2018 Worldwide Cruise Atlas, which showcases the line's cruise itineraries aboard its ocean-going ships, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity

For 2017 and 2018, the line will offer itineraries in Asia, Australia & New Zealand; the Mediterranean and Northern Europe; the Indian Ocean, Africa & the UAE; Caribbean, Panama Canal & Mexican Riviera; South America, Antarctica & the Amazon; Pacific Coast & Hawaiian Islands; New England & Canada; and Alaska and the Northwest Passage. Both years will also offer an Alaska cruise season, with the addition of seven-day departures roundtrip from Vancouver. 

2017 will mark the line's first-ever voyages to New Guinea. Additionally, Crystal Symphony will be among the first ships to visit Doha, Qatar, that year. In 2017 the line will also offer a second 32-day Northwest Passage transit, Serenity’s Southern Celebración World Cruise, a 99-day Grand Pacific Explorer visiting destinations in Australia and Asia, inclusive two- or three-night pre- and post-cruise land programs to Machu Picchu, Iguazu Falls, and Paris, and itineraries designed around key events such as Midsummer’s Eve in Stockholm, an overnight in Muscat on the Sultan’s Birthday, and the Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. Finally, the line will offer its first holiday cruise in Africa traveling round-trip from Cape Town, December 22, 2017 – January 7, 2018.

For 2018, Crystal will offer four World Cruises in a single year, with 14 itineraries on Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity available for mixing and matching. Additionally, travelers can enjoy luxury African safaris on an itinerary also visiting Madagascar and Mauritius, as well as boutique itineraries exploring the North Cape, Amazon, Persian Gulf and Red Sea. For the holidays, travelers can try two New Year’s Eve voyages, one a Hawaiian Holiday round-trip from Los Angeles, the other a Creole & Caribbean Celebration from New Orleans.

Fare Guides for cruises through December 2018 are available to order, view or download online at and are re-issued every 60 days to coincide with the line’s Book Now fare changes. Atlases are being shipped to agents, Crystal Society members, and Crystal Symphony, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Esprit over the next two weeks, with delivery expected by early April.
