Crystal Cruises has announced that Claudius Docekal will serve as the company’s new vice president of deployment. Docekal’s promotion comes with nearly 35 years of experience in the cruise and hospitality industries. He will manage and create international itineraries for Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, the company’s main vessels.

With Mr. Docekal’s promotion, Crystal Cruises hopes to further promote its luxury travel itineraries. The cruise line is offering new trips for the 2015-2016 season, including an East China excursion. The new cruise departs from Hong Kong and sails to Taipei, Shanghai, Pusan, Kochi, Osaka and finally, Tokyo. During the 12-day trip, guests will have the opportunity to discover the region’s distinct culture on village land excursions and walking tours of gardens, historical quarters and more.
