Following recent activity in Libya, Crystal Cruises has canceled its call into Tripoli this fall, instead reverting to its original itinerary set for its November 16, "Italian Splendor," traveling Europe from Venice to Barcelona. An 11-day itinerary, the cruise feature a maiden call in Koper, Slovenia, from $4970 per person, double occupancy and offers savings up to $5,000 per couple.
Featuring a range of services, lectures and dining opportunities, the cruise also includes roundtrip air transformation from more than two dozen North American gateways (or air credits) and $2,000 per couple All Inclusive – As You Wish shipboard spending credits, in addition to access to bonus savings with Bring-a-Friend and Crystal Family Memories programs. Other features include visits to Dubrovnik, Catania, Naples, Civitavecchia and Livorno and overnight stays in Venice and Barcelona.
“When Libya relaxed its visa restrictions, we were very excited to offer this exotic call to our fall cruise collection,” said Gregg Michel, Crystal’s president. “Fortunately, we can very easily replace the revised program with our original itinerary, which is rich in European culture, history and scenery.”
