Crystal has named Angela Composto as its new vice president of marketing. Composto will head head of all creative services and marketing initiatives for Crystal Cruises, Crystal Yacht Cruises, Crystal River Cruises, Crystal Luxury Air, Crystal AirCruises, and Crystal Residences, following time spent as vice president of marketing for Silversea Cruises.
Composto is a 25-year veteran in marketing management, brand and advertising strategy, and promotions, holding senior leadership roles at a Fortune 500 company and one of Forbes Top 100 companies to work for in America. Composto’s specific experience in the redevelopment of Silversea’s corporate website, as well as the launch of a visual rebranding campaign, are particularly timely for her addition to Crystal, as the line expands into new markets with new vessels over the next three years, the cruise line said. Her first day will be June 27, and she will be based in Crystal’s Miami branch office, reporting to Carmen Roig, senior vice president of marketing and sales, while much of the supporting marketing service will continue to operate in the Los Angeles offices.
