Cunard Line Reveals “Flagship Collection” Hotel Stays for Worldwide Cruise Holiday Voyages

Cunard Line announced details of some of its shorter worldwide cruises for 2016, and introduced its new “Flagship Collection” of hotel stays that can be combined with these departures.

Segment voyages of the full World Cruises give passengers the option to create shorter holiday options in destinations of interest.

Sydney to Singapore – Queen Mary 2

The segment aboard Queen Mary 2 from Sydney to Singapore takes the form of a 27-day voyage on the biggest ocean liner to sail the world. Queen Mary 2 departs Sydney on March 11, 2016 and calls at Brisbane, Yorkeys Knob (Cairns), Kota Kinabalu, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Halong Bay (for Hanoi), Laem Chabang (for Bangkok) and Sihanoukville (Cambodia) before arriving in Singapore on April 7. Fares start from $4,599 per person.

Dubai to Southampton – Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth’s 23-day Dubai to Southampton voyage (April 17 – May 10, 2016) calls at Salalah (Oman), Aqaba (for Petra, Jordan), Sharm El Sheikh, Suez Canal transit, Istanbul, Athens, Valletta (Malta) and Valencia before arriving back in the UK. Fares start at $4,048 per person, while balcony cabins have fares from $6,598 per person.

Cape Town to Southampton – Queen Victoria

Experience the traditional liner run from Cape Town to Southampton on Queen Victoria with her 18-day (April 22 – May 10, 2016) voyage, which takes in Walvis Bay (Namibia), St Helena, Ascension Island, St Vincent (Cape Verde islands), Tenerife and Madeira before arriving back in the UK. Fares start at $3,149 per person, while balcony cabins have fares from $5,199 per person.

The new “Flagship Collection” offers a selection of pre- and post- hotel stays with special benefits, and includes properties in Cape Town, Dubai, Fort Lauderdale, Hong Kong, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore and Sydney.

As an example, Queen Elizabeth’s 18-day Hong Kong to Dubai (March 30 – April 17, 2016) segment could be extended after disembarking with a one-night stay in Dubai at the Peninsula (for $580 per person including Harbour View room, 10 percent off spa treatments and 10 percent off at all food and drink outlets) or Sofitel The Palm (the first night for $590 per person including luxury Sea View room, complimentary dinner for two in any of their seven restaurants and complimentary access to the spa). The voyage on Queen Elizabeth from Hong Kong calls at Nha Trang, Singapore (overnight), Penang, Phuket, Chennai (India) and Cochin before Dubai. Fares start at $3,148 per person, while balcony cabins have fares from $5,198 per person.
