Cunard's New Queen Victoria Arrives in Southampton

The long-awaited arrival of Queen Victoria, Cunard's newest ocean liner, is over. Queen Victoria arrived in Southampton, England, on Friday morning, berthing at the City Cruise Terminal. The public was able to watch the ship come into port from various points. Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, accompanied by Prince Charles, will name Queen Victoria on Monday. The ceremony will be broadcast on large screens set up in Mayflower Park from 3:30 to 4:40 p.m. The Queen Victoria will then depart on her maiden voyage Tuesday at 5 p.m. (DE)
