Deilmann Cruises Announces "Buyer's Assurance"

Peter Deilmann Cruises has announced a revised Passenger Protection Plan that adds "loss of job" to the plan benefits for guests buying insurance in conjunction with their purchase of a Deilmann's European river cruise or an ocean cruise on the company's vessel MS Deutschland.

According to Ronald Santangelo, Peter Deilmann Cruises' president, "Deilmann Cruises is concerned that buying decisions are being postponed because of the uncertainties surrounding possible job loss. Our solution is to expand the coverage of our trip insurance to cover this possibility." The new benefit will not increase the current price for the Travel Protection Plan.

The standard Peter Deilmann policy from Trip Mate includes protection for the traveler from any cancellation penalities from the cruise line and even from hotels or airlines if those services were also purchased from Deilmann. This provision is available for all new bookings after March 26, 2009.
