Disney Cruise Line's Disney Fantasy is offering new spectacles at its Walt Disney Theater, a 1,340-seat theater spanning three decks with orchestra and balcony seating.
The lineup of musicals performed aboard the Disney Fantasy Walt Disney Theatre includes “Wishes,” “Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular,” “Disney’s Believe,” “A Fantasy Come True” and “An Unforgettable Journey.”
“Wishes” is a 45-minute musical about three best friends who visit Disneyland to celebrate their high school graduation. The show features Disney characters like Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Lilo, Stitch, Mulan, Hercules, Pinocchio, Timon and Pumbaa. The performance includes full-scale production numbers and special effects, as well as original songs and classic Disney songs.
“Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular” is new to Disney Cruise Line, and is debuting aboard the Disney Fantasy. During this Broadway-style production, the characters from the classic animated Disney film “Aladdin” are featured in musical comedy form, where Aladdin meets a Genie that grants him three wishes. He moves on to battle Jafar and fall inlove with Princess Jasmine to the tune of the original songs re-created on stage.
“Disney’s Believe” is a performance telling the story of a hard-working father who reconnects with his daughter and learns a valuable lesson about what is important in life. The performance features over 20 Disney characters, including Cinderella, Peter Pan, Mary Poppins, Belle (“Beauty and The Beast”), Rafiki (“The Lion King”) and Princess Tiana (“The Princess and the Frog”).
“A Fantasy Come True” is a 45-minute musical production that serves as a welcome show to new guests coming aboard the ship. Similarly, “An Unforgettable Journey” is a good-bye performance in the form of a 45-minute musical production featuring audio and video clips from Walt Disney productions
