Dream Vacations, in partnership with Celebrity Cruises and Beyond Proper, sponsored a raffle at a Pop Up Party for the students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
On February 14, 14 students and three staff members were fatally shot and 17 were wounded in one of the country’s worst school shootings. The City of Parkland put together the Pop Up Party for the students to have a fun event at the end of tragic school year. The party, held at Pine Trails Park, included free food from local food trucks and music by DJ Laz.
Maria Carreras, a 19-year-old student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, won the raffle. She received a three-night Bahamas cruise and a $100 Beyond Proper gift card.
