Elvis Comes to the Canary Islands

Elvis fans, start your engines. Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is now offering a tribute act dedicated to "The King" played by Rocking Dave, who will be headlining on Boudicca’s 14-night Canary Islands cruise departing from Southampton on January 16, 2011.

As part of the “Music and Laughter” variety show program on selected 2011 cruises, “Elvis” will be rocking the boat during this fortnight-long celebration with three separate shows dedicated to differenet periods of The King’s life including his film career, '50s through the '60s, and of course, the infamous Las Vegas years. Guests will be serenaded by quintessential Elvis tunes like “His Latest Flame,” “Suspicious Minds,” and “Return to Sender,” among others.

From Southampton, this winter sunshine cruise will sail around The Fortunate Islands calls at Leixoes, Portugal; Arrecife, Lanzarote; Santa Cruz, Tenerife; San Sebastian, La Gomera; Santa Cruz, La Palma; Funchal, Madeira and Vigo, Spain before returning to Southampton.
