Enhancements Completed on Wind Surf

Windstar Cruises' Wind Surf emerged from a five-week work period, sailing from Barbados with many new onboard enhancements. Dubbed "Degrees of Difference," the multi-million dollar investment added more luxury amenities and updates to the ship's public spaces and staterooms. Two new 500-square-foot luxury suites were added upping the ship's capacity to 312 guests. Other upgrades included a remodeling of all stateroom bathrooms for a more contemporary look, along with a resurfacing of stateroom desks. In addition, the Yacht Club replaces the library and is replete with an espresso bar, a flat-screen TV and eight computers with Internet access. The Degrees of Difference updates will follow on Windstar's other two ships, the Wind Spirit in spring 2007 and the Wind Star in fall 2007.
