Globus Launches Culinary Programs

Globus has launched a collection of epicurean-themed vacations and river cruises designed to reveal the heart of each region through its foods and wines.

Globus’ new Food & Wine vacations, developed in conjunction with television personality Burt Wolf, include five domestic and international tours ranging from eight to 12 days and three European river cruises ranging from 12 to 14 days.

Programs included are “Flavors of Burgundy & Provence,” which starts in Paris and then travels south to Chalon-sur-Saône, where cients will board the new Avalon “Scenery” riverboat.  On the seven-night cruise to Arles, they’ll have opportunities to cultivate their wine knowledge, with rich history lessons and foodie delights along the way.  As part of this cruise, travelers will visit several wineries and explore the folklore collection of the Burgundy Museum, located in an old family mansion.  The program is priced from $2,059, cruise/land-only.
