Holland America Line has named Tony Archbold to the position of director of sales, Australia. Archbold will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales, activites such as developing sales strategies, the implementation and directing of sales programs, and staff for both Holland America Line and Seabourn.
Archbold was previously National Sales Manager at Creative Holidays, the Australian FIT division of The Travel Corporation, since 2003. While there, he led the sales team for Creative Holidays to win five consecutive International Wholesalers of the Year awards, as well as Hall of Fame entrance at the National Travel Industry Awards.
Archbold also held positions in sales management at Rosenbluth International, SBT Business Travel Solutions, Transport & Distribution Consultants Pty Ltd, Eva and Northwest Airlines, and Thai Airways. He studied Theology at Moore Theological College and later complete a Master of Transport Management degree at the University of Sydney.
