Holland America Names Virtuoso Exec SVP Marketing and Sales

Holland America Line has hired Mark Kammerer, Virtuoso's former vice president of cruise sales and exclusive product, as senior vice president, marketing and North American sales. Kammerer had formerly been vice president, worldwide cruise marketing, for the line.
In his new role, Kammerer will report directly to Richard Meadows, executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs for Holland America Line, who will also become president of Seabourn when the reorganization is complete. Kammerer is expected to begin working at Holland America Line headquarters at the end of January.
Prior to Virtuoso, Kammerer was general manager of distribution marketing and the cruise business for online booking engine Expedia Inc. Before joining Expedia, he worked for Holland America Line, Club Med North America and Royal Caribbean International.
