Hurtigruten's Loyalty Program Welcomes Back 27,400 Members

In the two years since its launch, Hurtigruten’s "1893 Ambassador" Loyalty Program welcomed 27,400 members on a return voyage with the line. 10,000 members took a repeat voyage in 2011, and with more than 6,000 bookings already made for 2012, the program expects similar numbers for this year.

Members of the program enjoy 10 percent discounts on any Classic Norway voyage longer than three days and five percent discounts on Explorer Voyages to Europe, Greenland, Antarctica or Spitsbergen. These discounts can be combined with Early Booking fares and other selected discount programs, and are applicable to the cruise component only.

Members also receive a bridge visit on a Norwegian Coastal Voyage, a welcome fruit basket, three-day bike rentals, quarterly member newsletter, a personalized member card and five percent savings on selected excursions on Norwegian Coastal Voyage itineraries. Some of these excursions include a midnight concert in Tromsø, a visit to the Russian border in Kirkenes and a city tour of Trondheim and the Nidaros Cathedral.

Membership in the program is free of charge. Guests can join by visiting, calling 877-301-3059 or by signing up while onboard their voyage.
