Hurtigruten Unveils New Travel Agent Website

Travel Agent OnlineHurtigruten has just launched a new travel agent website, offering the “Amundsen Explorer Club” certification program, as well as a variety of other support materials for agents.

The new website gives travel professionals access to useful materials including webinars, brochures, video and photo libraries, special offers for agents, group planning info, marketing tools, detailed information on all of Hurtigruten’s adventure products, and the names and contact information for local Hurtigruten sales representatives. 

Hurtigruten’s certification program teaches agents to take an educational approach when working with their clients by pointing out the benefits of traveling to unique destinations such as Norway, the Arctic’s Spitsbergen, Antarctica, Greenland and Iceland

The website also gives agents the opportunity to win a trip through its online contest, which ends July 16. Hurtigruten’s top 10 retail travel agents will be rewarded with a complimentary nine-day vacation for two to the Arctic’s Spitsbergen and Coastal Norway, October 1-9, 2015. Each winner and guest will join the company’s North American manager, Gordon Dirker, on their choice of a boat trip to Esmark Glacier, dog sledding on wheels or a wilderness evening at Camp Barentsburg. Tour guests will then board the MS Midnatsol for a four-day voyage along the fjord-lined Norwegian Coast. Winners will be announced by July 17, 2015.
