Insight Vacations Adds Gold Itineraries

Insight Vacations announced this week it plans to add seven new tours to its offerings. The new "Gold" itineraries from the European tour operator include stays in five-star hotels, sightseeing tours and authentic dining experiences.

The new itineraries are as follows:

Britain and Ireland: Sightseeing in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Highlights include Edinburgh Castle, Chatsworth House, Trinity College and the Cobh Heritage Centre. The trip is 15 days, priced at $5,435, based on double occupancy.

European Masterpiece: Two-night stays along a route through the Alps. Travel via train from Dijon to Paris and visit sights such as the Vatican and Sistine Chapel, Michelangelo's David and take a cruise across the Venetian Lagoon. The itinerary is 12 days, priced from $5,050, based on double occupancy.

Iberian Classic: Take a rail trip between Madrid and Barcelona for a city tour. You'll also see cities such as Lisbon and Seville and sights such as the tomb of Christopher Columbus and Alhambra Palace. The trip is 11 days, priced from $4,350, based on double occupancy.

Elegance Along the Nile: Choose from three cruises aboard the MS River Tosca, a newly built cruise ship decorated in Egyptian style. The boat, which traverses the Nile, has a sun deck, pool and shaded cabanas.

Elegance of Egypt: This three-night cruise starts and ends with nights in Cairo. The trip includes the five-star Conrad Cairo hotel. The trip is eight days, priced from $2,425, based on double occupancy.

Elegance of the Nile: This cruise entails seven nights aboard the River Tosca. During the days, travelers visit towns and cities along the river where they can visit historic sites and haggle with local shopkeepers. The itinerary is set for 14 days, priced from $3,725, based on double occupancy.

Elegance of the Pharaohs: Travelers can take in the scenery of Egypt from the French balcony of the ship. The hotels included are located in Cairo and on Elephantine Island. The trip is 11 days, priced from $2,899, based on double occupancy.
