International Expeditions Waives Single Supplement Fee on Galapagos Sailing

International Expeditions is offering single travelers a savings of $1,200 on its March 5 Galapagos voyage, a savings of 20 percent off regular fares.

On the 10-day Galapagos Voyage itinerary, International Expeditions’ 32-guest M/V Evolution navigates to nine islands and is small enough to access such sites as Genovesa (Tower) Island— which features thousands of red-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls and storm-petrels. The ship’s pangas (landing craft) are used several times a day to go easily and quickly ashore.

While touring the archipelago’s landscapes, travelers also visit Fernandina and Isabela Island, where small volcanoes have recently erupted, and Tagus Cove, a well-protected area sheltered by two enormous volcanic craters. Here, guests can snorkel with green sea turtles (underwater visibility is best in March), see marine iguanas nesting and hike uphill for a view of Darwin’s Lake and nearby craters.

Per person prices for the 10-day Galapagos Voyage departing March 5 start at $4,798 per person (with the single supplement savings), and include accommodations, Galapagos National Park tax and transit fees, daily excursions, most meals, local transportation, guides, transfers and tips to porters and waiters for included meals.
