Cruise and Maritime Voyages appointed cruise industry veteran John Dennis to the position of VP of sales and marketing. Dennis will be responsible for further enhancing the company’s brand identity and directing initiatives in the areas of business development through retail travel agencies, consortia and host agencies, print and online advertising, e-commerce and corporate communications.
Dennis’ 22-year background in the travel industry includes a variety of positions in sales and marketing and partnership development for acclaimed brands including Club Med, Norwegian Cruise Lines, American Classic Voyages, and Premier Cruise Lines. Before joining Cruise and Maritime Voyages, Dennis most recently served as director of national and key accounts and business planning at Club Med where he was responsible for strategic partner and major account development. Throughout his career, Dennis has also successfully led key initiatives in business development, brand positioning, alliance marketing, affinity programs, e-commerce, revenue-producing partnerships, niche marketing and group sales.
Dennis is based at the new Cruise and Maritime Voyages North America office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
