Judy Perl Cruises Rebranded as Judy Perl Worldwide Travel

Judy Perl has rebranded Judy Perl Cruises as Judy Perl Worldwide Travel, a Virtuoso travel agency. The new name acknowledges expanded client demand for both land and sea travel, and the company’s own expertise in both types of vacations.

The New York-based company was founded in 2001 by Perl, a 30-year travel industry veteran who began her career with Seabourn and Cunard cruise lines.

New programs this year include a range of international travel options such as Playbill’s “Broadway on the High Seas” cruise to Tahiti and French Polynesia in March, including well-known stars of Broadway musical theater, a concept created by Judy Perl; the new Playbill Travel’s “Broadway by the Sea” program, launching in December; a land-based Save Venice, Inc. fundraising program; and Silversea’s expedition-vessel cruise to Siberia, hosted by Perl.

As part of the expansion, Maggie Mantia has joined Judy Perl Worldwide Travel as senior vice president. Mantia brings more than 30 years’ experience in cruise lines and land travel. She is also an expert in MICE travel. Most recently vice president, Charter and Incentive Sales Worldwide at Regent Seven Seas/Oceania Cruises and Cunard Line, Mantia has also been a director at E.F. MacDonald Travel Company (now part of Aimia, the world’s largest global loyalty company) and a luxury cruise consultant at David Morris International.
