Ketchikan Voters Approve Pier

Four years after the effort began, the City of Ketchikan has an approved a port renovation project. Voters overwhelmingly approved the sale of up to $38.5 million in revenue bonds, voting 974–434 for a project that will include a new cruise ship berth space, a renovated Casey Moran Harbor, a waterfront promenade, new bathrooms and improved ground transportation areas.
