Landry & Kling Names Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings MICE Partner of the Year

norwegian escapeNorwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH), parent company of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Oceania Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line, has been named the winner of Landry & Kling’s first “MICE Cruise Line Partner of the Year” award.

Landry & Kling said the inspiration for the award came when the company realized it had booked charters on all three NCLH brands in 2016.

Landry & Kling Co-ounders Joyce Landry & Jo Kling presented a commemorative award to Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ executives: Katina Athanasiou, VP charters, meetings and incentives, and Lisette Martinez, director of sales operations and services, charters, meetings & incentives.

In all, Landry & Kling booked 5 MICE charters on NCLH in 2016. The Regent Seven Seas Mariner was chartered for a seven-night corporate incentive program in Alaska, while Oceania’s Riviera was chartered for eight nights, which the company split into two corporate incentive cruises of four nights each, sailing the Caribbean between Miami and San Juan. Norwegian Getaway was chartered for 40 nights as a floating hotel to provide supplemental housing during the 2016 Rio Olympics, and the Norwegian Pearl was chartered for a four-night music festival “buy-in” cruise to Jamaica for music fans. Finally, the Norwegian Escape was chartered to a three-night cruise to the Bahamas on behalf of HelmsBriscoe, the company’s strategic partner, whose corporate client requested a motivating incentive program for over 4,000 qualifiers.
