Costa Names Field Sales Director

Costa Cruise Lines (www.costacruises.com) has hired Bill Dwyer, formerly vice president of sales for Paul Gauguin Shipping Limited, as its director of field sales for Costa Cruise Lines, North America. In his new role, Dwyer, a 20-year travel industry veteran, will oversee all field sales strategy and development and manage all regional sales development managers in the U.S. and Canada. At Paul Gauguin, Dwyer managed the marketing and selling strategies for the Paul Gauguin cruise ship, operated by Regent Seven Seas.

OSSN Adds Two Regional Managers

Outside Sales Support Network (OSSN) (www.ossn.com) has named Patricia Bannister and Monique Peragine regional managers, doubling the size of OSSN's staff. Bannister will work as OSSN's southeastern regional manager, but will remain director of the OSSN Memphis Chapter, which she has led since May 2004. She also has worked with OSSN in other capacities, including co-leading the association's 2007 international conference in Greece and facilitating several OSSN fam study cruises. Her own home-based business is Bannister Travel.

Peragine will serve as OSSN's northeastern regional manager and will continue to serve as director of the OSSN New York City/Hudson Valley Chapter. Peragine's home-based tra vel agency, Trips A Plenty Travel, specializes in honeymoons and destination weddings.

Sabre & TRAMS Take CRM Mobile

Sabre Travel Network and TRAMS, Inc. introduced ClientBase Online at the opening of the TRAMS/Sabre Technology & Marketing University in Las Vegas. The new capability will allow travel agents to access all of their client relationship management tools, including booking and shopping, in one integrated online location. Client Base Online will be integrated into the MySabre agent desktop and VacationStudio, an online leisure portal.

ClientBase Online is now available to U.S. agents, and will be rolled out to the rest of North America this year. It will be available via any Internet-connected computer, and will host the agent or agency's database at no additional charge over the monthly licensing fee subscribers pay.
