Lindblad Expeditions Offers 30th Anniversary Alaskan Voyages

Lindblad Expeditions is offering the Ultimate Alaska Expedition to commemorate its 30th year of Alaskan cruises, As part of the cruise, Undersea Specialists will dive 40-80 feet underwater with an HD camera to film footage for presentation showcases. As part of the program, whale recordings captured by an underwater microphone will be played over the ship's PA system.

The Undersea Specialist is added to the current Expedition Team of three naturalists, an expedition leader, and a photo instructor certified by National Geographic.

The Alaska program includes the 8-day Exploring Alaska’s Coastal Wilderness and 12-day Alaska, British Columbia and San Juan Islands itineraries from May through Sept. 2012 on the National Geographic Sea Bird and the National Geographic Sea Lion. Kayak and Zodiac excursions are available, as well as access to the Tongrass National Forest. A Tlingit Interpreter will be available during the voyage's visit to Glacier Bay National Park

Voyages booked by March 31, 2012 receive free round trip air between Seattle and Alaska on select May and June departures. Rates for Exploring Alaska’s Coastal Wilderness begin at $5,990 per person based on double occupancy for a Category 1 cabin, and $7,690 for Alaska, British Columbia and San Juan Islands.
