Passengers on Majestic America Line’s Queen of the West will receive a full refund after the ship’s engine room caught fire April 7 during a Columbia River itinerary, which cut the trip short. The 124 passengers will also receive 50 percent off their next Majestic America cruise if they book within the 12 months. The 230-foot ship was towed to a Washington state park after the incident where passengers were safely disembarked. The cause of the fire has still yet to be determined.
