Mariner of the Seas Redeployed January 2011

Royal Caribbean International has reported that Mariner of the Seas will be redeployed as of January 2011.

The ship's new scheduling will include a short South America season before it enters the Mediterranean for summer 2011.

The ship will make Rome her home port from March through October, sending Splendour of the Seas to Venice. The ship will sail 10- and 11-night Greek Isles and Turkey itineraries.

For the winter season, she will return to North America for seven-night Western Caribbean itineraries, departing from Galveston, TX. This will send Voyager of the Seas, which ports in Galveston now, to New Orleans.

Royal Caribbean International is taking a temporary reprieve from its Mexican Riviera itineraries. Mariner of the Seas will make the final round-trip voyage from Los Angeles on January 9. Guests who are booked on Riviera sailings from January 16, 2011 can opt for a full refund or enjoy $200 onboard credit per stateroom ($400 per suite) when rebooking the vacation at the same fare or lower.
