MSC Cruises is partnering with Martha Stewart on exclusive new onboard experiences and shore excursions. The partnership, which is called “Celebrate, Discover, Experience,” includes shore excursions, celebration surprise gift packages and onboard special holiday dinner menus and recipes.
Shore Excursions
The first shore excursions produced under the partnership will take place in the Caribbean, focusing on Stewart’s passions, according to MSC: hands-on culinary classes, tastings of local cuisine, horseback rides in the ocean, hiking, visits to craft markets, lessons from local fishermen and garden tours. The excursions will aim to highlight the key landmarks of each destination, as well as favorite local spots and the local culture.
For the initial roll-out, excursions will be available at all destinations visited on itineraries served by MSC Seaside and MSC Armonia, including San Juan, Puerto Rico; Nassau, Bahamas; Philipsburg, Saint Maarten; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; Ocho Rios, Jamaica; George Town, Cayman Islands; Cozumel, Mexico; Costa Maya, Mexico; and Roatán Island, Honduras. In November, additional excursions will be available in Caribbean destinations visited by MSC Divina and MSC Meraviglia. Further in the future, the program will also include an excursion on MSC Cruises’ new private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, which opens in November.
Prices for the new shore excursions will range from $115 per adult to $199 per adult, depending on the specific tour, and with discounts available for children.
Holiday Dinner Menus and Recipes
The partnership will also involve special holiday dinner menus for Easter, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Stewart designed each menu, which includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert, based on her own experiences and family traditions. The menus will be available in both the main restaurant and the private restaurant of the MSC Yacht Club, and guests will also receive a recipe from their meal to take home.
Celebration Surprise Packages
Finally, MSC Cruises will offer Martha Stewart celebration surprise packages that guests can order for delivery to their stateroom, to celebrate birthdays, honeymoons or anniversaries. Travel advisors will have three options to choose from, which can be purchased prior to sailing or once onboard:
- Martha Stewart Delightful Surprise: Personalized letter from Martha Stewart and special Martha Stewart dessert and recipe card. Price: $10
- Martha Stewart Sweet Delight & Cheers: Personalized letter from Martha Stewart; special Martha Stewart dessert and recipe card; and specially selected wine.
Price: $30 - Martha Stewart Sensational Celebration: Personalized letter from Martha Stewart; special Martha Stewart dessert and recipe card; specially selected wine; free digital and printed photo taken by a MSC Cruises’ professional photographer; 5x7 picture frame; and canvas beach tote bag.

These offerings will launch on the MSC Seaside and MSC Armonia starting June 1.
