Norwegian Star

Here’s the latest from Norwegian Cruise Line, regarding shifts in cruise schedules for voyages in the Caribbean this week. The line is trying to stay out of the path of Hurricane Rina.

As reported earlier today, Norwegian Star cancelled her call to Belize City, Belize and is spending today at sea. However, in the latest update, the line said the ship is now expected to call at Belize City on Thursday, Oct 27. Norwegian Star’s scheduled call to Cozumel on Friday also has been cancelled. Instead, the ship is expected to call in Costa Maya, Mexico.

Norwegian Spirit is expected to call Belize City, Belize as scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 27. But on Friday, Oct. 28, the line will cancel the ship’s planned port call to Cozumel, Mexico and instead spend the day at sea.

Norwegian Pearl will cancel port calls at George Town, Grand Cayman on Thursday, Oct. 27 and Cozumel, Mexico on Friday, Oct. 28. Instead, the ship will visit Nassau, Bahamas on Friday, Oct. 28.

All Norwegian sailings departing on or after Friday, Oct.28 continue to operate as scheduled. If any further changes are necessary, the line said guests will be notified and www.ncl.com will be updated.
