Norwegian Cruises Offers 500 New Europe Land Excursions

Norwegian Cruise Line’s three Freestyle Cruising ships, the Norwegian Epic, Norwegian Jade, and Norwegian Sun, have launched a total of 500 new shore excursions in Europe.

Guests can now depart from Barcelona, Venice, or Copenhagen, Denmark and sail to ports such as Naples, Helsinki, Stockholm, Piraeus in Greece, Izmir in Turkey, and many others.

Some excursions include the Ultimate Taste of Dalmatia in Dubrovnik, Croatia, which includes a visit to the villages of Orasac and Ston to sample local cuisine such as oysters. The Pisa Fly-Over tour includes a helicopter fly-over of the leaning tower of Pisa followed by wine tasting. Two example land tours that are offered as excursions are the Best of St. Petersburg and the Best of Olympia excursions, which both tour St. Petersburg, Russia and Katakolon, Greece respectively.

Norwegian’s newest cruise ship, the Norwegian Epic, is currently cruising seven-day Western Mediterranean itineraries departing from Barcelona and visiting Florence, Rome, Naples, and Palma. The Norwegian Sun is offering nine-day Baltic itineraries from Copenhagen to Berlin, Tallinn in Estonia, Helsinki, Stockholm, and an overnight stay in St. Petersburg. The Norwegian Jade offers seven-day itineraries in the Greek isles calling on Corfu in Greece, Santorini, Mykonos, and Izmir, as well as seven-day Adriatic itineraries visiting Dubrovnik, Piraeus, and Katakolon through early October.

Norwegian Cruises fly and sail package for the Norwegian Epic’s October 8 and 16 sailings start at $1,449 when leaving New York’s Kennedy airport.
