Oceania Cruises was named the “Best Premium Cruise Line” for the sixth consecutive year at the 2016 Virtuoso Gala Awards, which were held at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas as part of this year’s Virtuoso Travel Week. The line was honored during a gala dinner hosted by Virtuoso Chairman and CEO Matthew D. Upchurch.
The Virtuoso Awards allow the network’s partners to vote for the winning agencies and advisors, while agency members select partner winners. This year Virtuoso received more than 2,200 votes from its members and partners.
Also at this year’s Virtuoso Travel Week, the luxury travel network recognized Lindblad Expeditions as the winner of its 2016 Virtuoso Best VAST Partner Award. Virtuoso also released its list of “Best of the Best” hotels for 2016, which recognized Borgo Egnazia in Italy as its Hotel of the Year.
