Oceania Cruises has named Xavier Bennasar sales manager for Spain and Portugal. Bennasar’s appointment comes as part of the line’s wider expansion across Europe and the United Kingdom.

Bennasar bring 20 years of experience in the hospitality world to Oceania Cruises. For six years, he was the owner of Mallorca Sea Shipping, coordinating ports for Pullmantur Cruises, which was purchased in 2006 by Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Previously, Bennasar was a director for Marítima del Mediterráneo, providing port and logistic services, as well as serving as a ship agent for Schembri Maritime Agency.
For the past three years, he has owned his own acclaimed seafood restaurant in Palma de Mallorca.
