Oceania to Debut New Marina in Manhattan

Oceania Cruises will debut its newest flagship, the Marina, in Manhattan for the first time on April 2, 2011 with a two-day event hosting more than 800 travel agents and marketing partners.

“With so many of our top travel agents based in the tri-state area, it is the perfect stage to celebrate the arrival of the most elegant and stylish ship to have been built in the modern era of cruising, a span of some 50 years,” said Frank Del Rio, chairman and CEO of Oceania Cruises’ parent company, Prestige Cruise Holdings. “We also look forward to hosting the various design and culinary partners who have been instrumental in Marina’s design.”

New York City is the last port of call in the U.S. before the Marina sets off on her trans-Atlantic voyage for a summer season spent cruising the Mediterranean and Baltic seas. The 1,258-passenger Marina features 629 staterooms and suites.
