Onsite: Carnival Corp. Broadens Breast Cancer Fundraising Initiative

FORT LAUDERDALE-A program launched last year by Holland America Line to raise money for breast cancer research will be extended to include four other Carnival Corp. brands. Carnival Cruise Lines, Seabourn Cruise Line, Costa Cruises and Princess Cruises join Holland America in launching "On Deck for the Cure," five-kilometer onboard walks benefiting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Holland America already raised $400,000 for the organization and presented a check to Nancy Brinker, founder of the organization, at last week's CLIA cruise3sixty conference in Fort Lauderdale. Carnival's goal is to raise $1 million.
