Pandaw Launches New South American Departures With Partner Ship Amazon Dream

Pandaw has just announced that it will be offering new itineraries in 2016, with departures from South America aboard the Amazon Dream.Pandaw

The new 14-night sailings will explore lesser-visited locations of the Amazon River, departing from Santarem. Pandaw’s partner ship, the Amazon Dream, can carry 18 passengers, offering guests spacious accommodations. The cruise includes land arrangements for a three-night stay at the Sofitel Hotel, Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, as well as an excursion to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountain. Also, guests will enjoy a two-night stay at the Hotel Das Cataratas, located next to Iguacu Falls.

Other activities include:

- A visit to Maguari and Munduruku villages to meet the communities who make their lives in the rain forest 
- A visit to Alter do Chao in Brazil, recognized as one of the “best freshwater beaches in the world” 
- A visit the waterfront area at Santarem
-A night expedition to experience the sounds of the rainforest after dark
