Paul Gauguin Cruises Offers 11-Night Australs & Society Islands Voyage

Paul Gauguin Cruises is offering an 11-night Australs & Society Islands voyage on The Gauguin this fall that visits prime locations for humpback whale viewing.

On this cruise, two opportunities will be available for whale watching: Moorea in the Society Islands and Rurutu, an island in the Australs chain. Marine biologist Dr. Scott Baker; Cécile Gaspar, president of Te Mana O Te Moana, a nonprofit conservation organization; and oceanographer and environmentalist Jean-Michel Cousteau enhance the experience with their expertise through a series of lectures during the voyage.

The 11-night Australs & Society Islands sailing departs Sept. 21, 2013, from Papeete, Tahiti, and visits Huahine, Bora Bora, Taha’a (Motu Mahana), Raiatea, and Moorea in the Society Islands along with Rurutu in the Australs Islands. Cruise fares start from $5,395 per person and include airfare from Los Angeles.
