While interest in travel to Cuba is declining, companies are still launching new itineraries. Pearl Seas Cruises is the latest company to announce that it will be running four cruises to the country at the end of this year. The cruise line is one of the few to be approved by the United States and Cuban governments to sail to Cuba and will comply with all the latest U.S. and Cuban regulations.
The 11-night cruise is scheduled to leave from Fort Lauderdale on November 10, 20, 30, and December 12, 2017. The itinerary will circumnavigate the island and will make stops in Havana, Cienfuegos, Trinidad, El Cobre, and Santiago de Cuba. Pearl Seas also offers a complimentary pre-cruise package and transportation to the ship on all 2017 fall Cuba sailings.
Guests will be able to travel around Havana in a classic American car, take part in a pottery demonstration in Trinidad, and experience a guided excursion in Cojimar, the fishing village that inspired Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea.
Sailing to Cuba will be the Pearl Mist, the 210-passenger ship. It’s designed for small group activities throughout the itinerary.
