Platinum Seminars Adds Express Certification

Platinum Seminars and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) will offer an "Express CLIA Certification" cruise onboard the new Crown Princess's nine-day western Caribbean itinerary sailing departing Aug. 16. Agents will be able to achieve their CLIA's Accredited Cruise Counselor status with this one sailing, and the courses also benefit agents working toward their advanced CLIA Master Cruise Counselor or Elite Cruise Counselor certification. Agents who attend a Platinum Seminars Module will be approved for three CEU credits with The Travel Institute. Agents also may attend three CLIA courses and watch two videos to earn a total of 65 points toward ACC/MCC and ECC certification and 10 CEU's from The Travel Institute. Plans are to hold the training sessions on sea days to allow agents to fully explore ports of call. The rate is $599 for run of ship accommodations with additional port and government taxes of $256. Oceanview cabins are also available. An IATA or CLIA card is required to book, and companions are welcome at the same rate. Visit [www.platinumseminars.com].
