Pleasant Holidays, Journese Add American Cruise Lines

Pleasant Holidays and its luxury brand, Journese, have added American Cruise Lines to their portfolio of river cruise offerings. The line’s U.S. river cruise itineraries will be officially open for booking May 20.

Both brands will offer American Cruise Lines’ product line of 12 small cruise ships sailing more than 35 itineraries across 28 states that explore popular American destinations, including the Mississippi River, New England, Pacific Northwest & Alaska, and the Southeast, in addition to seasonal and themed voyages spotlighting history, music, cuisine and more. All American Cruise Lines bookings through Pleasant Holidays and Journese receive an exclusive $50 per person onboard credit, the two companies said.

To celebrate the launch, travel advisors will receive $50 per booking bonus commission on all new bookings made May 20 – 31 for travel in 2019 and 2020. This limited time offer is valid on all American Cruise Lines voyages booked through Pleasant Holidays or Journese during the promotional period and is in addition to the travel advisor’s usual point of sale commission, the two companies said. There is no limit to the number of qualified bookings a travel advisor can make during the incentive period. Group discounts are also available.

American Cruise Lines itineraries range from five to 22 days and offer a nightly complimentary cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, local cuisine, wine and beer with lunch and dinner and daily onboard entertainment from musicians, historians and naturalists. A pre-night hotel stay and guided shore excursions are also included on select voyages.
