Princess Cruises Reveals 2023-2024 South America & Antarctica Season

Princess Cruises has revealed its 2023-2024 South America and Antarctica itineraries. The 2,670-guest Sapphire Princess returns to the region to visit 19 destinations in 10 countries on five itineraries. Tickets go on sale April 6, 2022.

The 14-day “Cape Horn & Strait of Magellan” itinerary features overnight stay in Buenos Aires. The itinerary includes Montevideo, Puerto Madryn, Falkland Islands (Stanley), Cape Horn, Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), Punta Arenas, Amalia Glacier, Puerto Montt and ends in Santiago. Departures are on February 5, February 19 and March 4, 2024.

The 16-day “Antarctica & Cape Horn” itinerary features four days of cruising the Antarctica region. Guests will sail from Santiago to Punta Arenas, heading on to Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego), Cape Horn, Antarctic Peninsula (Elephant Island, Antarctic Sound, Deception Island, Gerlache Strait, Neumayer Channel, South Shetland Islands and Admiralty Bay), Falkland Islands (Stanley), Montevideo and arrive in Buenos Aires. Departures are on December 19, 2023, and January 4 and January 20, 2024.

The 18-day “Andes & South America” offers an overnight in Lima (Callao), with an optional overland land tour to Machu Picchu. The December 1, 2023 cruise originates in Los Angeles and sails to Costa Rica (Puntarenas), Manta, Lima (overnight), Pisco (General San Martin), La Serena (Coquimbo) and ends in Santiago. On March 18, 2024, the cruise departs from Santiago for La Serena, Pisco, Lima (overnight), Manta, Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and ends in Los Angeles.

The 2023-24 season also features two grand adventures. The 34-day “Antarctica, Andes & Cape Horn Grand Adventure” originates in Los Angeles and sails to Costa Rica, Manta, Lima (overnight), Pisco, La Serena, Santiago, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Cape Horn, Antarctic Peninsula (Elephant Island, Antarctic Sound, Deception Island, Gerlache Strait, Neumayer Channel, South Shetland Islands and Admiralty Bay), Falkland Islands, Montevideo and ends in Buenos Aires. The cruise will depart on December 1, 2023.

The 32-day “Andes & Cape Horn Grand Adventure” will originate in Buenos Aires (overnight) on March 4, 2024 before heading to Montevideo, Puerto Madryn, Falkland Islands, Cape Horn, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas, Amalia Glacier, Puerto Montt, Santiago, La Serena, Pisco, Lima (overnight), Manta, Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas. It will end in Los Angeles.

Princess will also offer two pre- and post-cruise land tours for South America: Iguazú Falls, plus a visit to Rio de Janeiro; and Machu Picchu, plus a tour of the city of Cusco. Princess’ past guests are eligible for a Captain’s Circle Launch Discount when reserving early and can be combined with launch and group promotions. These discounts will not be available for third- and fourth-berth guests. The offer is valid until July 31, 2022.
