Regent Seven Seas Cruises has reached an agreement to extend its operation and management of the 330-guest Paul Gauguin through January 2010. The pact will be yearly reviewed and extended based on mutual agreement between Paul Gauguin Shipping Limited and Regent. The Paul Gauguin is noted for its South Pacific itineraries. "Paul Gauguin has been an extremely popular ship that has transformed the cruise marketplace in French Polynesia," said Mark Conroy, president of Regent Seven Seas. The ship was launched at the end of 1997 and began year-round operations from Papeete. Visit [www.rssc.com]. (DE)
