Royal Caribbean Family of Brands Previews New Booking Tool

Beginning August 20, travel agents will have the chance to get a peek at Royal Caribbean's, Celebrity Cruises' and Azamara Cruises' new booking engine, CruiseMatch, as it sets out on a nationwide preview tour. Travel agents can log onto Royal Caribbean's agent web site to find out when the tour, which wraps up September 12, is coming to their town. The first stop is in Miami. "The robust functionality of the web-based booking engine will give travel agents the ability to service their clients more quickly and efficiently when booking cruises," said Lisa Bauer, senior vice president of sales for Royal Caribbean International. The tool's new capabilities will include price and itinerary comparison, up-sell opportunities, e-quotes and tour reservations.
