Travel agents can now attend the University of Wow, Royal Caribbean's new online training program. The program is being touted as a virtual classroom for travel agents, which allows them to learn about brand itineraries, services and other tools offered by the line. In addition, agents who complete the course will receive five credits toward their CLIA certification. "Our goal was to build the most robust training tool in the industry," said Lisa Bauer, senior vice president of sales for Royal Caribbean. Agents who complete the course will be listed as Royal Caribbean Cruise Experts when prospective customers use the cruise line's online travel agent locator function.
