Silversea Continues "Passport to Luxury" Promotion in 2012

Silver Whisper at Ocean Terminal, Hong Kong, courtesy of NgchikitLuxury cruise line Silversea Cruises has announced it will extend its "Passport to Luxury" promotion to all voyages in 2012, save for expedition cruises aboard Prince Albert II. Available on new bookings, the program offers your clients an Onboard Spending Credit of up to $1,500 per suite ($750 per person) for double-occupany suites, depending on the length of the voyage (or back-to-back voyages).

On voyages of six to seven days, guests will receive $500 per suite through the program. On voyages of eight to 21 days, your clients will have $1,000 per suite at their disposal, or $1,500 on voyages of 22 or more days. "With the new multi-tiered program for 2012, guests can sail on consecutive voyages and the applicable Onboard Spending Credit will be determined by the total number of days on the booking," said Steve Tucker, Silversea's vice president of field sales for North America. "That means you could take two seven-day voyages back-to-back and qualify for a $1,000 Onboard Spending Credit."

In turn, single occupancy suites can also take advantage of the program, with 50 percent of the Onboard Spending Credit. Good to Know: the Onboard Spending Credit can be combined with Silver Savings fares, toward up to 60 percent savings on select voyages, and included roundtrip air and transfers, if applicable

Options through the program include spa treatments, specialty restaurants, premium spirits and rare vintages from the Connoisseur's List, Silver Shore excursions, and personal fitness training, as well as boutique purchases, Internet packages, laundry service and direct-dial phone calls. We hear the six-course dinner in Le Champagne, the only Relais & Châteaux wine restaurant at sea, is divine-as is the aroman stone massage at the onboard spa.
