Silversea Cuts Steel on Silver Muse

Silversea Cruises celebrated the start of construction of Silver Muse on July 24 with the cutting of first steel at Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente shipyard in Genoa, Italy. Silversea Chairman Manfredi Lefebvre d'Ovidio co-hosted the event with Giuseppe Bono, CEO of Fincantieri.
 
Silver Muse will be Silversea's new flagship when it debuts in the spring of 2017.

Designed to be a smaller and more intimate ship, the vessel will have less than 300 suites, said Lefebvre d'Ovidio.
